I'd rather not review this way, but sometimes, it's all I can do. I'll start by saying, I have had worse Chinese food, an we all know not expect to much from a buffet setting. I will say, I have had better Chinese buffets. Its my understanding that the location has new owners within the last year, an it may be a little improved. I tried many items on the buffet, can't really say anything was above average.
The food is not fresh tasting, nor particularly tasty.
If you really want good Chinese food, drive up the road to Lexington. The food at this location is just not a good value. The food scene in Nicholasville continues to be lame endeavor. If you want good food, drive to Lexington. -

If it weren't for my family picking this place, I wouldn't have came here. The food was bland, and tasted as though it was reheated and the options weren't as great as other buffets. Seafood is slim pickings, and definitely not the best grade of meats/fish.
Just all around disappointing. Hard to want to eat something that tastes old. But overall, the staff was friendly. I won't be coming back. I'd suggest to find some other buffet, like maybe the dragon buffet in Richmond road in Lexington. That's a choice! -

Buffet food, dont be too picky lol. People are nice and not bad for the price. I go here sometimes when im too lazy to sit on my couch and order delivery. Im that lazy. Like having to write a long ass post in order for it to register as a revview. Jesus christ you have to type a lot

Umm if you want to eat a lot of "Chinese" food and your in nicholasville I guess this is where you go to do it. It's mediocre at best, it's cheap though and offers plenty of mediocre cheap food selections.

I've been to a lot of Chinese Buffet's over the years, and this was without a doubt the worst. I know that I should keep seafood expectations low when I'm this far inland, but they obviously were using low-grade fish in the sushi because they deep fried it for so long and so hard that it scraped the roof of my mouth. The crab rangoon was lukewarm and only contained a few pebbles of some sort of filling. The General Tso's Chicken was extremely overcooked, and the sauce was flavorless.
Where this place really shined, was the cleanliness. The carpets were disgusting. There was rice stuck to the back of a clean plate when I grabbed it. The serving utensils in the buffet all felt sticky, like they were not getting swapped out throughout the day. The crown piece of the establishment was the indoor koi pond. It was right next to our table..... The large rock in the center was haphazardly wrapped with electrical cords, signifying the overall lax mentality of the establishment. The pump/filter box was flat-out nasty, coated with grime and it appeared to be leaking onto the carpet. And to top it off it was all powered by an aging, yellowed power strip coated in dust and cobwebs. The fish looked terrified to be there, and kept to the far corner. I'm guessing they were trying to avoid their future date as the centerpieces in the next day's sushi..... No, at least in that case the fish would technically be fresh. My biggest surprise was that I did not see any cockroaches while eating, because this establishment looked like a pretty good habitat for them.
I'd avoid this place at all cost.
